Job summary

Harbour Hotels in the South West region seeks a Kitchen Porter to join our team. You will be well organised and able to work quickly to keep the pots and pans clean for the chefs, including unloading stock and maintaining a clean, safe kitchen environment.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work quickly and keep pots and pans clean.
• Able to unload stock and keep kitchen clean.

Responsibilities

• Unload and store incoming stock.
• Keep the kitchen clean and surfaces tidy.
• Empty bins and sweep/mop floors.
• Wash up pans and pots and operate the dishwasher.
• Ensure equipment is put away correctly after use.

The role…

We have a superb opportunity for a Kitchen Porter to join the team. As Kitchen Porter you will need to be well organised and be able to work fast to keep the pots and pans clean for the chefs. The duties may include, unloading and putting away stock correctly, keeping the kitchen clean, emptying bins, sweeping and mopping floors. The kitchen porter will make sure all the equipment is put away correctly, the washing up of pans, pots and operating the dishwasher machine. A good command of the English language is essential.
