Job summary

Perfect Placement UK Ltd is recruiting for an experienced Vehicle Technician at a reputable dealership in Folkestone. The role offers a competitive base salary starting at £40,000 with an OTE up to £50,000 and 42.5 hour weeks on a rota including weekends.

You will diagnose, repair and service a broad range of vehicles, using advanced diagnostic tools with a focus on hybrid and EV systems, and maintain accurate service records in a modern workshop.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician with strong diagnostic skills.
• Qualification to Level 3 in Vehicle Servicing & Repairs; Level 2 with diagnostic capabilities may be considered at reduced salary.
• Specialist knowledge of Hybrid & Electric Vehicle technology is advantageous.

• Conduct diagnostics, repairs, and servicing across a broad range of vehicles.
• Use advanced diagnostic equipment with a focus on hybrid and electric vehicle systems.
• Ensure all repairs meet manufacturer standards and customer expectations.

Requirements as a Vehicle Technician:

• Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician, with strong diagnostic skills
• Qualification to Level 3 in Vehicle Servicing & Repairs; Level 2 personnel with diagnostic capabilities may also be considered at a reduced salary package.
• Specialist knowledge of Hybrid & Electric Vehicle technology is highly advantageous
• Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
• A strong work ethic and commitment to quality workmanship
• A full UK driving licence
