Pembrokeshire Direct Payments is seeking a friendly Personal Assistant in Pembrokeshire to support a client with community access and independence. The role is funded through the Direct Payments scheme and requires flexibility to meet care needs, with experience in Additional Learning Needs seen as a bonus.
The successful candidate will assist with personal care, accompany to activities, provide companionship and support safeguarding and appointments as needed.
7 hours a week and 100 miles per week @ 55p a mile

A Direct Payments client s family in Pembrokeshire are looking to employ a Personal Assistant to support their family member to access the community. This post is funded through the Direct Payments scheme, which aims to enable the client s family to manage their support and meet their family members care needs independently. The successful applicant should be friendly and supportive and be able to work flexibly to meet the care needs of the client. It would be beneficial if the applicant has some experience of Additional learning needs (Autism, PDA and ADHD). A keen interest in engineering projects would be desirable. They should be able to support the client to make their own decisions and support in times of anxiety.
