Job summary

Pembrokeshire Direct Payments is seeking a caring and reliable Personal Assistant to support a child in accessing the community and attending social and leisure activities. This role focuses on promoting independence, communication and wellbeing.

You will provide one-to-one support at home and in the community, helping the child participate in activities while keeping them safe. Experience with children and a compassionate approach are important.

  • Maintain clear communication with parents/carers regarding outings and progress.
  • Build a positive, trusting and professional relationship with the child and family.
