Job summary

Professional Personnel Management Ltd is recruiting a skilled Gas Engineer for roles near Exeter. The position involves completing annual gas servicing and minor heating repairs, with on-call rota duties and strict adherence to health and safety regulations.

You will report works using a PDA, maintain high customer satisfaction, and manage your workload with professionalism. Suitable candidates hold NVQ Level 2 in gas heating and a full UK driving licence.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Complete annual gas servicing and minor heating repairs following safety guidelines and specifications.
• Be available for out-of-hours call-outs on a rota basis.
• Provide exceptional customer service and maintain safety standards.
• Record and report works using a PDA and document incidents or hazards.
• Adapt to varied schedules and work with a diverse range of customers.

Your Role:

• Completion of Annual gas servicing & minor heating repairs working to health & safety guidelines, safe working practices, operational procedures, gas safety regulations and specifications.
• Must be available for out-of-hours call-outs on a rota basis
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and safety
• Report / Complete works using your PDA
• Report accidents, near-miss events, and potential hazards
• Be flexible in working with a wide range of customers, adapting to their needs and schedules

What We Need from You.

• A full UK driving license
• Flexibility and a positive attitude towards varied work and schedules
• Excellent customer service skills with experience working with the public
• A solid understanding of gas legislation and regulations
• Strong knowledge of Health & Safety practices and working to best standards
• Ability to manage your time and workload independently
• Recognised formal qualifications (NVQ Level 2 or equivalent) (desirable)
• Additional qualifications (LPG, Unvented) are desirable
