Example Recruitment Group is seeking an experienced Domestic Gas Service & Repair Engineer to join our team covering Exeter and surrounding areas. You will service social housing and local authority contracts, carry out LGSRs, diagnose faults, deliver first-time fixes, and complete compliance paperwork to ensure safety and high service standards.

Qualifications

• ACS qualifications CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1 & HTR1 are essential.
• Proven experience in domestic gas servicing and repairs.
• Full UK Driving Licence and knowledge of current gas safety regulations.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Carry out domestic gas servicing and LGSRs.
• Diagnose and repair boiler/heating faults and perform reactive maintenance.
• Complete electronic job reports and compliance paperwork.
• Deliver high-quality customer service on every visit.
• Ensure work is completed safely and in line with industry standards.

£42,000 - £48,000 Basic + Overtime + Call Out

The Role

Working across social housing and local authority contracts, you'll be responsible for keeping customers safe and comfortable in their homes by delivering a first-class service and repair experience.

Your duties will include:

• Domestic gas servicing and landlord gas safety checks (LGSRs)
• Diagnosing and repairing boiler and heating system faults
• Reactive breakdown and maintenance work
• Fault finding and first-time fix repairs
• Completing electronic job reports and compliance paperwork
• Delivering excellent customer service on every visit
• Ensuring work is completed safely and to industry standards

What We're Looking For

To be successful, you'll need:

• ACS qualifications including CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1 & HTR1
• Proven experience in domestic gas servicing and repairs
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Knowledge of current gas safety regulations
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Social housing experience desirable but not essential
