Nurse Practitioner Paediatric Epilepsy | East Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust

We are looking to appoint a Paediatric Epilepsy Nurse Practitioner for who brings innovation, specialist skills, and enthusiasm to lead the nursing element of our Paediatric Epilepsy Service. The successful candidate will work as an integral part of the Specialist Paediatric Nursing Team and will be supported to provide visible leadership and effective management to the epilepsy team, ensuring the delivery of a high-quality, CYP centred care.

This role requires close collaboration with the wider multidisciplinary team to ensure a cohesive, coordinated, and effective approaches across the service. The post holder will champion quality improvement initiatives and demonstrate a clear commitment to promoting and embedding our Trust values within everyday practice.

The Nurse/Clinical Practitioner will promote the vision and values of East Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust, leading by example and ensuring that they demonstrate those values in their leadership behaviours and how we support our teams and deliver our services

The Nurse/Clinical Practitioner will be able to provide highly specialist advice and able to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care

The Nurse/Clinical Practitioner will act as lead specialist in a defined area.

The Nurse/Clinical Practitioner provides specialist education and training to staff, students, carers and patients

The Nurse/Clinical Practitioner undertakes research and leads clinical audits in own specialist area .
