Job summary

Rikama Education Ltd is actively recruiting a Maths Teacher for a SEN school on the West Sussex/East Sussex/Kent border. The role involves planning and delivering maths lessons to pupils aged 7–19 with a range of additional needs, including autism and SEMH.

Ideal candidates will have Maths teaching experience, strong behavioural management, and a commitment to supporting learners with special needs. QTS is preferred; training and CPD are provided.

Qualifications

• Plan and deliver maths lessons for students aged 7–19 with special needs.
• Adapt lessons for autism and SEMH to promote inclusion.
• Demonstrate excellent classroom behaviour management and engaging teaching strategies.

Responsibilities

Rikama Education Ltd are currently working with a SEN school located on the West Sussex/East Sussex/Kent border who are looking to recruit a Maths Teacher who can plan and deliver lessons to 7-19 year olds with special needs.

Ideally you will have experience of teaching Maths, teaching students and supporting a range of additional needs. In particular we are looking for applicants that are experienced in working with Autism and SEMH.

Ideally you will have QTS, have excellent behaviour management, be a skilled practitioner, and have the motivation and patience to teach children with special needs.
