Job summary
Rikama Education Ltd are recruiting a Maths Teacher for a SEN school on the West Sussex/East Sussex/Kent border, to plan and deliver lessons for 7-19-year-olds with special needs.
The role requires experience in teaching Maths to students with additional needs, including Autism and SEMH, and an emphasis on excellent behaviour management. QTS is ideal, with a supportive consultant and CPD opportunities available.
Qualifications
- Experience planning and delivering Maths lessons to learners with special needs.
- Experience with Autism and SEMH considerations.
- Strong behaviour management and classroom discipline.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging Maths lessons for 7–19-year-olds with SEN.
- Adapt teaching to accommodate Autism and SEMH needs.
- Collaborate with support staff and school's SEN team to monitor progress.

Job description
Rikama Education Ltd are currently working with a SEN school located on the West Sussex/East Sussex/Kent border who are looking to recruit a Maths Teacher who can plan and deliver lessons to 7-19 year olds with special needs.
Ideally you will have experience of teaching Maths, teaching students and supporting a range of additional needs. In particular we are looking for applicants that are experienced in working with Autism and SEMH.
Ideally you will have QTS, have excellent behaviour management, be a skilled practitioner, and have the motivation and patience to teach children with special needs.
