Job summary

Randstad CPE in the Teesside area is seeking an experienced 2-person Groundworks Gang (360 Operative + Forward Tipping Dumper) for an immediate start on a residential/commercial site focusing on high-standard finishing work.

You will clear, level, and prepare grounds to final inspection standards, operating a 360 excavator and forward tipping dumper. CIS registration and CPCS/NPORS cards are required. Weekly pay and potential long-term work available.

Qualifications

• CPCS or NPORS card for 360 excavator and dumper required.
• Proven groundworks finishing experience on site.
• CIS registration (UTR number) required.
• Right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Operate 360 Excavator (above/below 10 tonnes) safely and efficiently.
• Carry out precise finishing work: trimming, grading, kerbing, edging, slabbing support.
• Carry out drainage adjustments, service trenching, and topsoiling.
• Work with site management while adhering to health and safety regulations.

Pay Rate: Up to £23.00 per hour (CIS)

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced

2-person Groundworks Gang (360 Operative + Forward Tipping Dumper) for an immediate start in

The ideal gang will be working on a residential/commercial site focusing primarily on high-standard

finishing work. You will be working together to clear, level, and prepare site grounds to final inspection standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Operating 360 Excavator (above/below 10 tonne) and Forward Tipping Dumper safely and efficiently.
• Precision finishing work, including final trimming, grading, kerbing, edging, and slabbing support.
• Drainage adjustments, service trenching, and topsoiling.
• Working collaboratively with site management and strictly adhering to health and safety regulations.

Requirements & Qualifications

• CPCS or NPORS card required for both operatives (360 Excavator & Forward Tipping Dumper).
• Proven experience on groundworks projects with a strong focus on finishing work.
• Valid
• CIS registration (UTR number required).
• Relevant PPE (hard hat, high-vis, safety boots).
• Right to work in the UK.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail.

Competitive rate up to £23.00/hr (CIS) depending on experience.

Weekly pay.
