Job summary

NRL Group is seeking a skilled 25 Tonne Excavator Operator for an ongoing civil engineering project in Teesside. You will operate a 25T excavator, perform earthworks, drainage and foundations, and coordinate with groundworkers and site management.

Requirements include valid CPCS or NPORS Excavator Operator certification and a CSCS Card, plus proven 25T excavator experience on civil projects. Health and safety adherence is essential on-site.

Qualifications

• Valid CPCS or NPORS Excavator Operator certification.
• Valid CSCS Card.
• Proven experience operating a 25T excavator on civil engineering projects.
• Experience in drainage and foundations preferred.
• Good understanding of health and safety on construction sites.

Responsibilities

• Operate 25-tonne excavator safely and efficiently.
• Excavate in line with site drawings and specifications.
• Carry out trenching, drainage, foundations and earthworks.
• Work closely with groundworkers and site management.
• Perform daily machine checks and basic maintenance.
• Follow all site health and safety procedures.
• Assist with general site duties as required.

Overview We are currently recruiting for an experienced 25 Tonne Excavator Operator to work on a busy civil engineering project based in Teesside. This is an ongoing opportunity for a reliable and skilled operator with previous experience working on civil sites.

Key Responsibilities

• Safe and efficient operation of a 25-tonne excavator.
• Carrying out excavation works in line with site drawings and specifications.
• Trenching, drainage, foundations, and general earthworks.
• Working closely with groundworkers and site management.
• Daily machine checks and basic maintenance.
• Adhering to all site health and safety procedures.
• Assisting with general site duties where required.

Requirements

• Valid CPCS or NPORS Excavator Operator certification.
• Valid CSCS Card.
• Proven experience operating a 25T excavator on civil engineering projects.
• Previous experience in drainage, foundations, and general groundworks preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good understanding of health and safety regulations on construction sites.Full PPE required.
