Job summary

Randstad Construction and Property is seeking a two-person Groundworks Gang (360 Operative + Forward Tipping Dumper) for an immediate start in Eaglescliffe. The team will clear, level, and prepare site grounds to final inspection standards on residential/commercial works.

The role requires CPCS/NPORS cards, CIS registration, and a strong finishing capability. The position offers a CIS pay rate and ongoing long-term potential on Teesside projects.

Qualifications

• CPCS or NPORS card required for both operatives (360 Excavator & Forward Tipping Dumper).
• Proven experience on groundworks projects with finishing focus.
• Valid CIS registration (UTR number) required.
• PPE: hard hat, high-vis, safety boots.
• Right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Operate 360 Excavator (above/below 10 tonne) and Forward Tipping Dumper safely and efficiently.
• Precision finishing work: final trimming, grading, kerbing, edging and slabbing support.
• Drainage adjustments, service trenching, and topsoiling.
• Collaborate with site management and adhere to health and safety regulations.

Pay Rate: Up to £23.00 per hour (CIS)

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced 2-person Groundworks Gang (360 Operative + Forward Tipping Dumper) for an immediate start in Eaglescliffe.

The ideal gang will be working on a residential/commercial site focusing primarily on high-standard finishing work. You will be working together to clear, level, and prepare site grounds to final inspection standards.

• Operating 360 Excavator (above/below 10 tonne) and Forward Tipping Dumper safely and efficiently.
• Precision finishing work, including final trimming, grading, kerbing, edging, and slabbing support.
