BB Water Solutions is seeking an experienced plumber to undertake wide-ranging plumbing and water hygiene remedial works across client sites in Central Scotland, with travel across Scotland and the wider UK as required. The role involves TMV, calorifier, cold water storage, and pipework modifications in commercial, healthcare, FM or industrial settings.

We value independent workers with strong fault-finding skills and a willingness to travel.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Carry out plumbing and water hygiene remedial works across client sites.

• Cold water storage tank modifications and replacement works.
• TMV installation, replacement and remedial works.
• Calorifier and hot water system works.
• Installation and alteration of valves, drains and fittings.
• Pipework insulation and minor system improvements.
• Remedial works identified through Legionella risk assessments.
• Fault finding and general plumbing repairs.

Job description

Location: Central Scotland, with travel across Scotland and the wider UK as required

Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00-17:00

Employment: Full-time, permanent

BB Water Solutions is continuing to grow following recent contract wins and we are looking to strengthen our directly employed technical team with an experienced plumber.

This role would suit a capable plumber who is comfortable working independently across commercial and industrial sites and is interested in developing further within the water hygiene and Legionella compliance sector.

Previous water hygiene or Legionella experience would be highly advantageous, although strong plumbing experience and the right attitude are equally important.

The Role

You will carry out a wide range of plumbing and water hygiene remedial works across client sites, including:

• Removal of redundant pipework and dead legs
• Alterations to hot and cold water systems
• Cold water storage tank modifications and replacement works
• TMV installation, replacement and remedial works
• Calorifier and hot water system works
• Installation and alteration of valves, drains and associated fittings
• Pipework insulation and minor system improvements
• Remedial works identified through Legionella risk assessments
• Fault finding and general plumbing repairs
• Supporting larger water hygiene and plumbing projects where required
• Completing site records and communicating clearly with customers

What We Are Looking For

• Experienced plumber with a strong practical background
• Full UK driving licence
• Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
• Good fault-finding and problem-solving skills
• Professional and confident when working on customer sites
• Willingness to travel as required
• Previous water hygiene or Legionella remedial experience
• Experience within commercial, healthcare, FM or industrial environments
• Experience with cold water storage tanks, TMVs, calorifiers and commercial plumbing systems
