Infinity Recruitment Consultancy Limited seeks a motivated Trainee Electrical Installations Technician in Cumbernauld. The role involves driving to client sites, installing and calibrating equipment, plus fault diagnosis and on-call support.

You will work with a team delivering electrical packages to commercial clients, with training provided. A full manual driving licence is essential, and some lifting tasks may be required.

Qualifications

• Full, clean UK driving licence is required.
• Electrical service/repair experience or similar with basic knowledge of machinery control circuits and measurements.
• Practical experience of in-service inspection and electrical equipment testing.
• Knowledge of single-phase and 3-phase electrical motors.
• NVQ Level 3 in electrical installation.
• Must be physically fit as some lifting may be required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver electrical equipment to commercial clients and install on site.
• Calibrate equipment and perform fault diagnosis.
• Attend monitoring visits to ensure equipment output meets requirements.
• Carry out repairs in the workshop and keep the vehicle clean and well equipped.
• Take part in out-of-hours call-outs on a rota basis and assist with end-of-hire returns.
• Work as part of a busy team to support client needs.

Trainee Electrical Installations Technician

Are you a driver with practical experience in electrical equipment installation? Or do you have electrical installation qualifications seeking your first permanent position? This role will not lead to an electrician role and a full manual driving licence is essential to be considered.

Our superb client based in Cumbernauld is seeking a Trainee Electrical Installations Technician to join them on a full time permanent basis working Monday to Friday 39 hours per week with a slightly earlier finish on a Friday. Likely working 8.00am to 4.30pm (flexible). Full manual driving licence is essential to be considered for the position.

As Trainee Electrical Installations Technician, you will cover the Cumbernauld and surrounding areas, delivering electrical equipment to commercial clients, installing the equipment on site, calibrating the equipment, fault diagnosis, attending monitoring visits to ensure equipment is still providing the required output, making electrical repairs in the workshop, ensuring your vehicle is clean, serviced and well equipped, taking part in out-of-hours call out for breakdowns or emergencies on a rota basis, collecting equipment at the end of the hire term and all supporting duties, working as part of a busy team.

To be considered for the role of Trainee Electrical Installations Technician, you will have:-

• A full, clean UK driving licence
• Electrical service / repair experience or similar with basic experience of machinery control circuits, voltage / current measurements, components, etc.
• Practical experience of in-service inspection and electrical equipment testing.
• Knowledge of single-phase and 3-phase electrical motors
• NVQ level 3 in electrical installation or similar
• Must be physically fit as some lifting may be required
• Full product training and mentoring will be given on the products
• You must also be comfortable with occasionally working at height for installations.

In return our client is offering a basic salary of £27,000, company van, 25 days annual leave plus statutory holidays, pension, possibility of overtime, on call rota allowance, training and development and much, much more.
