Job summary

Infinity Recruitment Consultancy Limited on behalf of a Bridgwater-based client is seeking a Trainee Electrical Installations Technician to join us on a full-time permanent basis, working Monday to Friday, 39 hours per week, with a slightly earlier finish on Fridays. Role involves installing remote monitoring equipment on site, calibration, fault diagnosis, and routine monitoring visits to ensure output.

Requires a full manual UK driving licence and electrical qualifications, plus good customer

• Experience with electrical service/repair and basic machinery control circuits.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Physically fit and able to lift when needed.

Responsibilities

Job description

Are you a driver with practical experience in electrical equipment installation? Or do you have electrical installation qualifications looking for your first permanent position? Please note that this role will not lead to an electrician role.

Our superb client based in Bridgwater is seeking a Trainee Electrical Installations Technician to join them on a full time permanent basis working Monday to Friday 39 hours per week with a slightly earlier finish on a Friday. Likely working 8.00am to 4.30pm (flexible). Full manual driving licence is essential to be considered.

As Trainee Electrical Installations Technician, you will at our clients site in Bridgewater, working on a digital solutions project, installing remote monitoring equipment on site, calibrating the equipment, fault diagnosis, attending monitoring visits to ensure equipment is still providing the required output, collecting equipment at the end of the hire term and all supporting duties, working as part of a busy team.

To be considered for the role of Trainee Electrical Installations Technician, you will have:-

• A full, manual UK driving licence
• Electrical qualifications such as NVQ in Electrical Installations or similar, and some electrical service / repair experience or similar with basic experience of machinery control circuits, voltage / current measurements, components, etc.
• Excellent customer service & communication skills
• Must be physically fit as some lifting may be required
• Full product training and mentoring will be given on the products
• You must also be comfortable with occasionally working at height for installations.
• You must lives in Taunton, Bridgwater, Weston Super Mare or in between to be considered for the position.

In return our client is offering a basic salary of 27,000, company van, 25 days annual leave plus statutory holidays, pension, possibility of overtime, on call rota allowance and much, much more.
