Job summary

ServiceMaster Clean in the United Kingdom is seeking a reliable Cleaner to maintain cleanliness and hygiene across our facilities. You will be responsible for keeping assigned areas clean, sanitary, and presentable, contributing to a safe and pleasant environment for staff and visitors.

Key duties include sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, restrooms cleaning, waste disposal, replenishing soap and paper products, safe handling of cleaning chemicals, and reporting hazards to your supervisor.

Qualifications

• Experience with cleaning tasks (dusting, mopping, vacuuming) advantageous
• Ability to follow schedules and safety procedures

Responsibilities

• Clean, dust, sweep, mop, vacuum, and sanitize assigned areas including classrooms, offices, restrooms and common spaces
• Empty waste bins and dispose of waste properly
• Clean and disinfect restrooms, sinks, mirrors and floors
• Refill soap, paper towels and toilet paper as needed
• Clean windows and glass surfaces as required
• Follow established cleaning schedules and procedures
• Use cleaning chemicals safely and properly
• Report maintenance issues, damages or safety hazards to the supervisor
• Adhere to health, safety and hygiene standards at all times

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean, dust, sweep, mop, vacuum, and sanitize assigned areas including classrooms, offices, restrooms, corridors, and common spaces
• Empty waste bins and dispose of waste in designated areas
• Clean and disinfect restrooms, including sinks, toilets, mirrors, and floors
• Refill supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper if required
• Clean windows, glass surfaces, and mirrors as required
• Follow established cleaning schedules and procedures
• Use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and properly
• Report maintenance issues, damages, or safety hazards to the supervisor
• Adhere to health, safety, and hygiene standards at all times

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Previous cleaning experience preferred but not required
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong attention to detail
• Physically able to stand, bend, lift, and perform repetitive tasks
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safety practices is an advantage
• Honest, dependable, and punctual

Working hours are:

• Monday – Friday 16:00PM - 18:30PM
• Monday - Friday 16:00PM - 18:00PM
