Job summary

Nirvana Managed Services in the United Kingdom is seeking a reliable school cleaner to maintain hygiene and safety across our client site during term time. You will help create a clean, welcoming environment for students and staff.

The role offers term-time, part-time hours with shifts from 4 PM to 8 PM, Monday to Friday, totaling around 10 hours per week. DBS check is desirable; we can assist if required. Nest Pension scheme and 28 days paid holiday are included.

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning or janitorial experience preferred.
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects.
• Attention to detail and high-quality work.
• Flexible to work evenings, weekends and holidays during term time.
• Familiarity with cleaning chemicals and equipment advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitise assigned areas, including restrooms, classrooms, offices, and common spaces.
• Dust surfaces, furniture, fixtures, and equipment thoroughly and regularly.
• Vacuum and mop floors using appropriate techniques and equipment.
• Empty trash and recycling bins, ensuring proper disposal and segregation.
• Restock cleaning supplies, toiletries, and other essentials as needed.
• Identify and report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or equipment malfunctions promptly.
• Adhere strictly to safety procedures, health regulations, and cleaning protocols.
• Maintain a professional, respectful attitude at all times.

• 10HRS A WEEK CAN BE FLEXIBLE
• 52 weeks per year
• DBS check desirable (we will process one for you if required)
