Job summary

Carrington Blake Recruitment is seeking a reliable Cleaner to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across a building. You will perform general cleaning in toilet, kitchen, office, corridors and communal areas, and may be required to hold keys and lock the building after shifts.

Full training is provided and you will work independently, following all hygiene and safety procedures with a strong focus on reliability and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Reliable and responsible, with a strong work ethic.
• Able to work independently and manage own tasks.
• Comfortable carrying out general cleaning and sanitisation duties.
• Trustworthy, particularly where key-holding and lock-up duties are required.

Responsibilities

• Act as a key holder for access to the building and lock the building after the shift, if required.
• Clean and sanitise toilet areas, including toilets, sinks, hand dryers and cubicle walls/doors, floors and surfaces.
• Clean kitchen areas, including work surfaces, sinks, floors and skirting boards.
• Clean office areas, including hoovering or mopping floors and sanitising desks and surfaces.
• Clean corridors and communal areas, including floors, skirting boards, window sills and furnishings.
• Use a scrubber dryer where provided to clean flooring.
• Follow all relevant cleaning, hygiene and safety procedures.

The successful candidate will be responsible for general cleaning duties, ensuring all areas are clean, sanitised and well maintained. The role may also involve holding keys to the building and locking up at the end of the shift, where required.
