Job summary

Manpower UK Limited is hiring a Production Operator to join a busy manufacturing team in Deeside. This hands-on role keeps production running safely, efficiently and to high quality standards.

Key duties include operating production machinery, supporting filling and manufacturing processes, monitoring runs, spotting bottlenecks, reporting faults and following all HSE procedures. A manufacturing background, SOP discipline and good communication are preferred.

Are you an experienced Production Operative looking to join a successful and growing manufacturing business?

We're recruiting for a Production Operator to join a busy production team in Deeside. This is a hands-on role where you'll play a key part in ensuring products are manufactured safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.

Rotational 3 Shift Pattern covering Days & Nights: 06:00-14:00, 14:00-22:00, 22:00-06:00

The Role

As a Production Operator, you will be responsible for supporting manufacturing operations, maintaining production output, and ensuring all health, safety, and quality procedures are followed.

Key responsibilities include:

• Operating production machinery and equipment


• Supporting product filling and manufacturing processes


• Monitoring production runs to ensure targets and deadlines are achieved


• Identifying and reporting potential production issues or bottlenecks


• Assisting in reducing downtime and improving operational efficiency


• Reporting equipment faults and breakdowns to the maintenance team


• Following all Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) procedures

The successful candidate will have:

• Previous experience within a manufacturing or production environment


• Experience operating production machinery


• Strong understanding of health and safety requirements


• Ability to follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)


• Good communication skills, both written and verbal


• Strong team-working skills and a positive, proactive attitude
