Connect Appointments is recruiting a Production Operative to join an established manufacturer based in Rhyl. Our client operates from a busy production facility with a strong focus on quality output and consistently high manufacturing standards. What’s on offer?

£12.71 per hour and a rotating three‑week shift pattern (6am–2pm, 2pm–10pm, 10pm–6am). Duties include setting up extrusion machines, monitoring performance, loading raw materials, inspecting finished goods, and keeping production records

Qualifications

• Experience operating extrusion or similar automated production machinery.
• Strong understanding of machine controls and automated production processes.
• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to monitor quality and identify faults.
• Good health and safety awareness within a manufacturing environment.
• The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

What's on offer?

• Paid at £12.71 per hour
• Rotating three-week shift pattern:

Week 1

6am to 2pm

Week 2

2pm to 10pm

Week 3

10pm to 6am

As a Production Operative, your duties will include:

• Setting up and operating automated extrusion machines in line with production specifications
• Monitoring machine performance and making adjustments to maintain quality and output
• Loading raw materials and ensuring correct material usage for each production run
• Inspecting finished products to confirm they meet quality and dimensional standards
• Completing production records, quality checks and downtime logs accurately

To be considered as a Production Operative, you will need:

• Previous experience operating extrusion or similar automated production machinery
• A good understanding of machine controls and automated production processes
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to monitor quality and identify faults
• Good health and safety awareness within a manufacturing environment
• The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
