Verdant Leisure Limited is seeking a Line Cook for our Pease Bay Holiday Park in Cockburnspath. The role involves preparing meals and snacks from a seasonal menu, supporting the Head/Sous-Chef, and keeping stations clean and well-stocked for service. Flexible hours apply to a busy, on-site kitchen environment.

The position is temporary/seasonal with a pay rate of £13.14 per hour. Previous kitchen experience is welcome but not essential; a can-do attitude and willingness to learn are valued.

• Previous professional kitchen experience preferred; experience from college or cooking at home advantageous.

Location: Pease Bay Holiday Park, Cockburnspath, TD13 5YP

Our Line Chefs prepare meals and snacks throughout the day, consistently delivering well‑presented, high‑quality, and flavourful dishes from our seasonal menu and special boards. They assist our Head Chef and/or Sous‑Chef to prepare the kitchen stations ready for service, ensuring they are stocked appropriately and cleaned regularly throughout the shift. This role is essential in guaranteeing quality food service our guests anticipate, providing them with another option to self‑catering and allowing them to spend more precious time with family and friends.

You will need a good basic knowledge of food preparation and presentation. Previous experience is a professional kitchen is preferred, however experience from college or cooking at home would also be advantageous. Not got experience but still interested? If you have a can‑do attitude and are willing to learn, then we welcome your application too!
