Job summary

Triumph Consultants Ltd is seeking a Finance Business Partner to provide financial advice, monitoring and support to service areas, helping improve performance and value for money. The contract is 3 months and based in Coalville with hybrid working.

The successful candidate should have AAT or equivalent with at least three years’ post-qualification experience, strong Excel skills, knowledge of Housing Revenue Accounts (HRA) and budget monitoring, to deliver clear financial guidance to service

Qualifications

• AAT qualified or equivalent with 3+ years post-qualification finance experience, or substantial relevant experience.
• Experience in a local authority finance environment, including knowledge of Housing Revenue Accounts (HRA).
• Experience of budget preparation, monitoring and statutory accounting.
• Strong Excel skills and experience using financial systems.
• Ability to analyse financial data and provide clear advice.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly financial reports and monitor budgets and performance.
• Work closely with service managers to provide financial advice and support decision-making.
• Identify opportunities to improve performance, efficiency and value for money.
• Support the annual statement of accounts and statutory reporting requirements.
• Provide financial support for key projects and help services manage resources effectively.

Finance Business Partner

Pay Rate: £22.28 per hour PAYE

Key Requirements

• AAT qualified or equivalent, with at least three years’ post-qualification finance experience, or substantial relevant experience.
