Belmont Recruitment are currently looking for a Finance Business Partner to join North West Leicestershire Council on an initial 3-month temporary contract. This is a full-time role working 36 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

The role focuses on financial accounting, performance monitoring and advisory support across services, delivering month-end reporting and challenging assumptions to improve value for money.

Qualifications

• Interpret and analyse financial and performance data to drive decision making.
• Produce timely financial monitoring and provide clear recommendations.
• Support services with financial guidance to improve value for money.

Responsabilités

• Deliver financial accounting and drive performance improvements through effective financial monitoring, advice and support by partnering with services.
• Champion excellent management of financial resources, promoting probity, efficiency, high performance and overall value for money with service areas.
• Produce month end financial monitoring and lead services in undertaking regular and timely review and challenge.
• Support and advise strategic and operational decision-making, driving commercial opportunities and better business performance.
• Undertake specific duties as part of the production of the annual statement of accounts.
