Job summary

Teaching Vacancies is seeking a Chief Financial Officer to work with the Chief Executive Officer and Trust Directors to shape the strategic vision for our Multi-Academy Trust and to oversee day-to-day financial operations. The CFO will maintain financial policies, ensuring effective and compliant management in line with the Academy Trusts Handbook.

The role requires an accounting qualification (AAT/ACCA/CIMA) or equivalent experience, and experience in an educational setting is desirable.

What skills and experience we're looking for

Our CFO will work very closely with the Chief Executive Officer and Trust Directors to help shape the strategic vision for our MAT. They will work with the Trust Business Manager and Finance Officer in the day-to-day financial operations, and will be responsible for maintaining and overseeing our financial policies and procedures to ensure effective, efficient and compliant Trust financial management in line with the Academy Trusts Handbook.
