We are looking for a fun, caring and positive Personal Assistant to support fun, positive 15-year-old girl who loves theatre, dance, the arts and getting out and about.

She is sociable and thrives on spending time with others, so we're looking for someone outgoing, confident and energetic who can bring creative ideas and a positive attitude.

The role is all about building independence and confidence. This may include supporting her in the community, encouraging her to chat with people, pay for items at the till, order drinks in a coffee shop, and try new experiences. At home, support could include creative activities such as baking, arts and crafts, as well as companionship and conversation. There may also be support with homework required.

We're looking for someone who will support her to do things for herself rather than doing things for her, helping her develop new skills, build confidence and create new routines and experiences.

Experience of supporting someone with cerebral palsy would be beneficial. She is profoundly deaf, has cochlear implants and is fluent in British Sign Language (BSL) and will enjoy teaching you.
