Admirals Reach Care Home in Chelmsford is seeking a Maintenance Operative to keep the building safe and fully operational. You will carry out repairs, inspections and general upkeep across the building and grounds, ensuring equipment and systems function safely and efficiently.
Working with the Home Manager, you will assist with planning, safety checks and contractor coordination, while maintaining a proactive, practical approach to maintenance and improvements.

As a Maintenance Operative, you will play a key role in ensuring the home remains safe, well maintained and fully operational at all times. This is a hands on role with responsibility, where your practical skills and proactive approach will directly support the safety, comfort and overall environment.
You will carry out a wide range of maintenance tasks across the building and grounds, including repairs, inspections, installations and general upkeep. You will ensure equipment and systems are working safely and efficiently, identifying issues early and taking appropriate action.
Working closely with the Home Manager and wider team, you will support maintenance planning, compliance checks and contractor coordination where required. You will help maintain a well organised, safe and fully functional environment, ensuring all work is carried out in line with health and safety standards.
