Job summary

Randox Health in the John Lewis clinic, Cheadle, seeks a Phlebotomist to collect blood samples from private and corporate clients. You will ensure an excellent patient experience from entry to exit, working within a team dedicated to high-quality service.

You will be responsible for accurate data entry into our Patient Information Systems (PIS), maintaining records, and supporting reception tasks. Vaccination against Hepatitis B or willingness to vaccinate after interview is required; UK right

Contract Offered: Full-time, permanent

Working Hours / Shifts: 4 on 4 off, working 7am to 7pm, including some weekends. These shifts are subject to change.

For this position, as you may be in contact with live blood samples, you must be vaccinated against Hepatitis B or be able to get it following a successful interview stage.

In line with Care Quality Commission guidelines, the successful candidate will be required to undergo an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check.

Right to Work Requirement

Please note that this role requires candidates to have the legal right to work in the UK for a minimum of 12 months from the application date. This is to ensure completion of our 9-month probationary period and for any potential sponsorship decisions to be considered. What does the Phlebotomist role involve?

This role is responsible for ensuring customers have an excellent experience from the moment they enter our clinic, taking blood samples from both private and corporate clients. This is a varied role that may also include the following responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive client appointments, including blood and urine sample collection, personal health measurements, and data entry into our Patient Information Systems (PIS).
• Demonstrate sensitive communication to ensure client understanding and consent.
• Maintain accurate records in PIS, uploading all relevant documentation.
• Represent the company professionally at offsite events and appointments.
• Engage in upselling and cross-selling at our private health clinic.
• Proactively drive sales and exceed targets.
• Help with reception, front of house and other administrative duties.
• Complete company forms, specimen labelling, and laboratory test order forms accurately.
• Demonstrate high IT literacy in order to manager various software systems and daily tasks.
