Job summary

Quality Service Recruitment Limited is seeking Waste Collection Operatives in the Caenby Corner, Hemswell Cliff area to help keep local communities clean. You will work outdoors, load waste, and travel across weekly rounds with your team.

The role is Monday to Friday, starting at 7am, and offers a physically active, essential public service position with a long-term temp-to-perm pathway and a starting pay of £12.85 per hour, with higher rates for overtime. A 28-day holiday accrual is included.

We’re recruiting Waste Collection Operatives to join our dedicated team in the Caenby Corner, Hemswell Cliff area, supporting services across West Lindsey.

About the Role:

As part of our operations team, you’ll play a vital role in keeping local communities clean and safe by collecting household waste. This is a physically demanding, outdoor role that involves:

• Reporting to the main depot Caenby Corner, Hemswell Cliff
• Manual handling and loading of waste materials
• Working outdoors in all weather conditions
• Walking long distances throughout your shift
• Working closely with colleagues to complete daily collection rounds

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys physical work, being outdoors, and contributing to an essential public service.

Requirements for the job are:

• Ability to work as part of a team
• Good level of physical fitness
• Reliability and punctuality

Long term temp to perm role.

You will work Monday to Friday with a start time of 7am.

You will have a starting wage of £12.85 per hour. Any hours worked over 37 a week are paid at £19.27.

You will accrue up to 28 days holiday per year.
