Job summary

ASI Recruitment Ltd in the Byfleet area is seeking a Prepper, Painter or MET Technician to join a small, friendly, manufacturer-approved bodyshop. The role suits someone with some experience in prep, paint or MET, but full bodyshop experience is not essential.

The client will train the right person and aims to develop you over time. The role involves preparing and repairing vehicles in a relaxed, supportive environment with low weekly volume (around 5–10 cars).

Qualifications

• A genuine interest in vehicle body repair and a willingness to learn.
• Good attention to detail and a reliable attitude.

A great opportunity to join a small, friendly, manufacturer-approved dealer bodyshop in the Byfleet area.

The business currently has just two technical staff and is looking for a Prepper, Painter or MET Technician to join the team.

This role would suit someone with some existing experience in preparation, paint or MET work, but full bodyshop experience is not essential.

The client is particularly keen to find someone with a good attitude, some practical skills and a genuine willingness to learn. They are happy to train the right person and would ideally want to bring someone into the business who they can develop over time.

The Role

Working within a relaxed, supportive environment, you'll be involved in preparing and repairing vehicles, depending on your existing skillset and experience.

The bodyshop handles around 5-10 vehicles per week, so this is not a high-volume, pressure-driven environment.

The client is open-minded about your background and is happy to consider candidates with different combinations of relevant skills.

What We're Looking For
