Job summary

ASI Recruitment Ltd in the Byfleet area is seeking a Prepper, Painter or MET Technician to join a small, friendly, manufacturer-approved bodyshop. The role suits someone with some experience in prep, paint or MET, but full bodyshop experience is not essential.

The client will train the right person and aims to develop you over time. The role involves preparing and repairing vehicles in a relaxed, supportive environment with low weekly volume (around 5–10 cars).

Qualifications

• Some experience or practical ability in prep, paint and/or MET.
• A genuine interest in vehicle body repair and a willingness to learn.
• Good attention to detail and a reliable attitude.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and repair vehicles in line with skill level.
• Work within a small, friendly team to deliver quality work.
• Contribute to a relaxed, low-pressure workshop environment.
