Position: Assistant Support Worker

Salary: £26,229 per annum
Hours: Full-time (37.5 hours per week)
Are you passionate about empowering people to live independently and with dignity? We are looking for a compassionate and enthusiastic Assistant Support Worker to join our dedicated team at Stainton Court, a supported living service for individuals with learning disabilities. You will work collaboratively with the people we support and colleagues to create an inclusive, respectful environment where everyone feels valued.
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, worked across a two-week rolling rota. The post includes regular sleep-in duties and requires flexibility to work every other weekend as part of the rota.
No previous experience is required - just a positive attitude, a willingness to learn, and a genuine desire to make a difference. We will provide full training and ongoing support to help you succeed. It is essential that you hold a full UK driving licence with access to a vehicle. Holds a care certificate or willingness to undertake a care qualification.
The successful candidate must always maintain appropriate professional boundaries and understand their responsibilities in relation to positions of trust.
