Job summary

CBW Staffing Solutions Limited is seeking a Mobile Multi-Skilled Engineer with an electrical bias to service a portfolio of commercial sites across the Thames Valley, South West and Midlands. You will perform PPM, reactive maintenance and general building services tasks, travelling between sites and delivering quality service.

The role requires a hands-on engineer who can work independently, handle diverse maintenance requests and maintain accurate records.

Qualifications

• Electrically or mechanically qualified – City & Guilds / NVQ Level 2 or above.
• 18th Edition desirable for electrically biased candidates.
• Proven experience within commercial building maintenance.
• Multi-skilled building services experience.
• Strong electrical or mechanical maintenance and fault-finding skills.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Must be able to travel across the required area.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative and reactive maintenance across multiple sites.
• Electrical maintenance, fault-finding and minor installation works.
• Lighting, emergency lighting and power distribution.
• Testing and maintenance of electrical systems and equipment.
• Basic mechanical maintenance, including pumps, motors, AHUs and FCUs.
• Carry out general plumbing and building fabric maintenance.
• Monitor and investigate faults with building services equipment.
• Complete routine plant and equipment checks.
• Respond to reactive maintenance issues and breakdowns.
• Liaise professionally with clients, site contacts and contractors.
• Complete maintenance records, job sheets and compliance documentation.
• Ensure all works are completed safely and in line with health & safety procedures.
• Travel between sites across the Thames Valley, South West & Midlands.

Mobile Multi-Skilled Engineer – Commercial Sites – Thames Valley, South West & Midlands – Up to £45,000

CBW Staffing Solutions are currently recruiting for a Mobile Multi-Skilled Engineer, ideally with an electrical bias, to cover a portfolio of commercial properties across the Thames Valley, South West & Midlands .

The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive maintenance and general building services works across a varied portfolio of sites. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer who enjoys working independently, travelling between sites and dealing with a variety of maintenance requirements.

The ideal candidate will live somewhere Central in the patch (Oxford, Burford, Cirencester, Chelthenham) Areas covering include Bristol, Reading, Southampton, Watford, Cheltenham, Swindon, Milton Keynes and Worcester.

• - Monday to Friday – 08:00–17:00
