Job summary

InspireAll Leisure & Family Support Services is seeking a full-time Catering Manager to lead the catering team, plan menus, order stock, and ensure excellent service for centre customers.

You will supervise kitchen and front-of-house staff, train catering personnel, manage rotas, and handle dietary queries while upholding food hygiene standards to maintain a 5-star rating. Some shifts may occur during evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Supervisory experience in catering environment.
• Willingness to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Ordering stock for the café.
• Managing a rota of staff and delivering training for all catering staff.
• Dealing with food enquiries for children’s parties, including menu options, dietary requirements and catering arrangements.
• Working ‘hands on’ in the kitchen preparing food for centre customers and bookings.
• Understanding and implementing food hygiene regulations to the highest standards to maintain the 5-star rating.
• Control of allergens.
• Understanding and managing catering profit and loss against the department’s annual budget.

The ideal candidate will have supervisory experience in a catering environment although training would be provided. You must be able to work in accordance with our shift pattern which includes some evenings and some weekends.
