Job summary

Hertfordshire Community NHS Trust is hiring a Community Nursery Nurse to support healthy child development across Early Years settings, schools and community/home environments within Borehamwood.

You will deliver the Healthy Child and Public Health Nursing Programme under the Public Health Nurse, working with children aged 0–5 and SEND up to age 6, with a requirement for a full driving licence and access to a car.

The post holder will work with children, young people and families within the Early Years settings, school and community setting, or within the home environment as deemed necessary. Supporting the delivery of Healthy Child and Public Health Nursing Programme as part of the Hertfordshire Family Centre Service. Working across the 0 – 5,

Age 6 Special Educational Needs and Disability (SEND) age range under the direction of the Public Health Nurse (PHN) to improve the health and wellbeing of a defined geographical population.

The successful candidate will:

• Will be part of a skill mixed team and as a Community Nursery Nurse you will work to deliver the universal and targeted Healthy Child and Public Health Nursing Programme as part of the Hertfordshire Family Centre Service. Working across the 0-5 age, age 6 Special Education Needs and Disability (SEND) age range under the direction of the Public Health Nurse (PHN) to improve the Health and wellbeing of the local population.
• Have afull valid driving licenceandaccess to a carto use regularly for business purposes is essential (unless you have a disability as defined by the Equality Act 2010)
