Job summary

Co-op Group in Birtley is seeking a Warehouse Team Manager for the back shift (2pm-10pm). You will lead a sizeable team of warehouse operatives, ensuring safe picking and packing and driving performance against key measures.

You will coach and develop your team, build strong internal partnerships, and uphold health and safety policies. The role is full-time, permanent, 39 hours per week with weekend work.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a sizeable team in logistics or FMCG.
• Ability to work at pace with accuracy.
• Strong track record of meeting or exceeding critical performance measures.
• Knowledge of warehouse policies and procedures.
• Strong planning and workload organisation skills.
• Understanding of how poor service can impact stores and customers.
• Excellent communication skills and IT proficiency.

We're looking for a warehouse team manager to join our team in the Birtley depot. You'll be responsible for a sizeable team of warehouse operatives, making sure that all products are picked and packed in a safe and secure manner. We'll look for you to engage with your team; leading and coaching them to deliver better results week on week, along with making sure that they adhere to working standards, policies and procedures.
