Job summary

Historic England in Birmingham is seeking a Project Officer for Externally Funded Projects on a fixed-term basis until March 2030. What you will be doing:

As part of Historic England’s Regions Group, the postholder will be a member of the regional Historic Places Regeneration Team, providing support in the delivery of our externally funded projects, including our Heritage at Risk Capital Fund and Places of Worship Renewal Fund, to March 2030.

This involves coordinating delivery of new Places of Worship and Heritage at Risk capital repair grant projects across your specific Historic England Region. Supporting projects through liaison, initiation, development, delivery, monitoring, closure and evaluation, both internally and with external stakeholders.
