Job summary

Historic England in Birmingham is seeking a Project Officer for Externally Funded Projects on a fixed-term basis until March 2030. The role supports delivery of grants such as the Heritage at Risk Capital Fund and Places of Worship Renewal Fund, coordinating across internal teams and external partners.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate delivery of externally funded capital repair grant projects across your region.
• Support projects through liaison, initiation, development, delivery, monitoring, closure and evaluation, with internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Collaborate with the Historic Places Regeneration Team to ensure timely delivery and reporting.
• Promote inclusive practices and flexible working options to support wellbeing and diversity.
