Job summary

Morgan Hunt is seeking an Outreach Navigation Worker to support homeless young people and care leavers who are rough sleeping or at risk of homelessness. This hands-on, young-person-centred role provides information, advice, guidance and practical support to help young people achieve positive and sustainable outcomes.

The role involves street outreach, triage and ongoing supported housing advice, works with partner agencies, and requires resilience, compassion and the ability to work

• Comfortable working outdoors and undertaking significant walking as part of street outreach.

• Committed to helping young people achieve independence and sustainable outcomes.
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is desirable but not essential.

• Work closely with statutory and voluntary agencies to ensure young people's needs are met.

• Help young people develop positive social networks, resilience and independent living skills.
• Support young people to move away from the streets and towards stable accommodation and recovery.
• Maintain accurate records and contribute to positive outcome-focused support planning.
