Job summary

Ceredigion County Council Direct Payment Support Service seeks a Personal Assistant/Carer for part-time in-home support. The role involves assisting a full-time wheelchair user with daily tasks, getting dressed, light housekeeping, shopping and accompanying to appointments.

Training will be provided, with an emphasis on enabling independence. Shifts are in the evenings, and there is a 1.5x Bank Holiday enhancement and optional pension as part of the package.

Responsibilities

• Assisting me with getting dressed/into PJs
• Light cleaning and domestic duties
• Helping with everyday tasks such as food shopping
• Accompanying me when I go for a day out for social/medical appointments
• Assisting with admin, post and filing
• Helping me to sit upright in bed (morning shift only)
