Job summary

The Best Connection Group Limited is seeking HGV Class 1 Drivers (LGV C+E) for ongoing work with a pharmaceutical distributor in Nottingham (Beeston area). This role suits experienced drivers and newly qualified HGV drivers, offering reliable, well-paid Class 1 driving opportunities in Nottingham.

Qualifications

• HGV Class 1 (LGV C+E) licence valid and in good standing.
• Minimum 1 year experience preferred; newly qualified drivers welcome (assessment required).
• Digital tachograph and driver hours regulations knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Complete 1–3 drops per shift in multi-drop operations.
• Drive Class 1 curtain-sided vehicles with no heavy lifting.
• Carry out vehicle checks and trailer inspections.
• Ensure load security and timely completion of paperwork.

Location: Nottingham (NG90)

Job Type: Full-time / Ongoing Work / Flexible Shifts

Peak Pay Rates (effective from 23rd August)

HGV Class 1 Day Driver: £17.40 per hour

HGV Class 1 Night Driver: £18.40 per hour

Overtime (after 9.6 hours):

• £26.10 per hour (days)
• £27.60 per hour (nights)

Guaranteed minimum: 9.6 hours per shift

Drivers who complete 12 weeks of service will recieve a bonus in January on all hours worked.

Key Responsibilities
