Job summary

Quality Service Recruitment Limited is currently looking for reliable HGV Class 1 Drivers to join an established, family-run logistics operation, with immediate starts available. You will deliver palletised goods to business customers across Nottinghamshire and Lincolnshire, with no handballing required.

You will perform daily vehicle safety checks and complete the necessary paperwork before heading out on the road.

Qualifications

• HGV Class 1 licence is required.
• Full UK Driver CPC is required.
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card is required.
• Licence held for a minimum of 1 year.
• At least 180 days of commercial driving experience.
• No more than 6 points on your licence.

Responsibilities

• Deliver palletised goods to business customers across Nottinghamshire and Lincolnshire.
• Open curtains at delivery points to unload the vehicle.
• Carry out daily vehicle safety checks and complete paperwork before departing.
• Work Monday to Friday with a typical 07:00 start.
• Temporary ongoing work with a potential to move into a permanent position.

Job description

We’re currently looking for reliable HGV Class 1 Drivers to join an established, family-run logistics operation, with immediate starts available.

This is a straightforward driving role delivering palletised goods throughout Nottinghamshire and Lincolnshire, with no handballing required.

The Role

You’ll be responsible for making deliveries to business customers across the area. At each delivery point, your main responsibility will be to open the curtains and allow the customer to unload the vehicle.

Alongside driving duties, you’ll carry out daily vehicle safety checks and complete the necessary paperwork before heading out on the road.

This is a great opportunity for a driver looking for regular work with a supportive team and the potential to move into a permanent position.

Requirements

• HGV Class 1 Licence
• Full UK Driver CPC
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card
• Licence held for a minimum of 1 year
• At least 180 days of commercial driving experience

• Ongoing temporary work is available.
