Job summary

Brewers Decorator Centre in Aylesbury is seeking a Senior Retail Sales Advisor to lead customer service and support the Branch Manager. The role covers 40 hours across Monday to Friday with Saturdays on a rota, at a competitive £29,500 per annum plus pension and benefits.

You will oversee store operations, motivate the team, handle cash and stock, and build strong relationships with customers while delivering Brewers’ hallmark service and sales growth.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Branch Manager with developing the branch and the team, deputising in their absence.
• Provide exceptional service to customers in branch, delivering Brewers service reputation.
• Have keyholder responsibilities, cashing up and supervisory tasks.

• Use product knowledge to provide recommendations and help customers find the best product for their needs.
• Plan and agree sales forecasts with the Branch Manager in line with Company targets.
• Ensure orders and enquiries are dealt with promptly.
• Mix paint for customers, process special stock requests, and manage branch stock.
• Build relationships with customers to fully identify their needs and provide a comprehensive service.
• Promote seasonal and special items, including merchandising to increase visibility and sales.
• Assist with stock maintenance in the branch.

You will play a vital part in keeping the branch running smoothly and efficiently and providing essential support to the Branch Manager - experience with our products isn't strictly necessary, if you are a natural leader and can bring great customer service, sales experience and team working skills to the table, we'll give you everything you need to succeed.

Our Aylesbury store is located Gatehouse Way. In store we stock a broad range of trade and designer paints, decorating tools and equipment plus we have a dedicated showroom displaying an extensive range of wallpapers, fabrics and blinds. It’s due to the excellent customer service, knowledge and expertise of the team that we welcome back so much repeat business to the store.

The branch opening hours are Monday to Friday 7am - 5pm and Saturday 8am - 5pm.

Who we are looking for
