Job summary

NICC Ltd T/A Polar Krush is seeking a flexible Operations Assistant to support production, packing, warehouse, refurbishment, and workshop activities across the duties listed. You will work with the Operations Team to hit productivity and quality targets, while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety.

In this role you will communicate with colleagues and management, participate in continuous improvement, minimize downtime and waste, and help keep accurate stock records and paperwork

Responsibilities

• Flexible across production, packing, warehouse, refurbishment, and workshop areas depending on business requirements.
• Provide support to other members of the Operations Team during busy periods.
• Assist with achieving departmental targets for productivity, quality, accuracy, and service.
• Communicate effectively with colleagues and management throughout the working day.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives within the department.
• Help reduce downtime, waste, rework, and unnecessary costs.
• Maintain a professional and positive attitude when dealing with colleagues, suppliers, couriers, and other departments.
• Carry out reasonable additional duties as requested by management.
• Maintain confidentiality of company, customer, supplier, and operational information.
• Ensure company property, equipment, materials, and stock are handled responsibly.
• Support a culture of teamwork, accountability, cleanliness, quality, and continuous improvement.
• Maintain consistently high standards of quality, hygiene, safety, and housekeeping.
• Complete production and warehouse tasks accurately and efficiently.
• Meet agreed production, picking, packing, and dispatch targets.
• Maintain accurate stock records and minimise stock discrepancies.
• Follow all QMS, HACCP, GMP, health and safety, and company procedures.
• Complete all required paperwork and records correctly.
• Work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Demonstrate flexibility and willingness to support different areas of the operation.
• Take ownership of assigned tasks and ensure they are completed to the required standard.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and help maintain an efficient, safe, clean, and well-organised workplace.
