GI Group Holdings Recruitment Limited is hiring a Warehouse Operative for their production site in Alton, Hampshire. You will support production and warehouse duties, operate RM and Packsize machinery, and ensure accurate labeling and packing while upholding safety standards.

The role runs Monday to Friday, 09:00 to 17:00, with weekly pay and a pension. You should be reliable, safety-conscious and capable of working in a fast-paced environment with good communication skills.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Production Operative - Alton £13.26 per hour

We have a new opportunity for a

Warehouse Operative

to join a well-established print on demand platform, working within their production facility in Alton. This is a hands-on Warehouse role supporting with production and Warehouse duties, with a strong focus on safe working, operating machinery, adhering to H&S practices with excellent attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities of a Production Operative

Operating RM & Packsize machinery ensuring attention to detail is maintained at all times

Setting up machinery on a daily basis, ensuring customised measurements are in place prior to operating

• Warehouse duties - loading and unloading /packing and labelling
• Collecting and processing packaging waste from product area including safe operation of QCR Balers

Requirements of a Production Operative

• Ideally

previous machine operating experience, using bailing/compaction equipment

Reliable, safety conscious and comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment

• Strong communication skills both written and verbal
• Self-motivated, flexible with a can do attitude
