A lovely lady, born and bred in Walkden, is looking for a kind, patient and reliable Personal Assistant to support her in her own home.
She has lived in her current home for many years, where she previously shared her life with her late husband. Family is incredibly important to her, and she has many fond memories of family life, including holidays touring Wales and the Lake District in their caravan and spending time with her grandchildren.
She has had a varied and interesting working life. After leaving school, she worked on a local farm, where she particularly enjoyed caring for the animals, collecting eggs and milking cows. She later worked as a machinist in a factory, a profession she continued for most of her working life.
She has always enjoyed keeping busy and spending time with her family. Her sight has deteriorated, meaning she is no longer able to enjoy reading as she once did, but she likes listening to and watching television programmes, including Call the Midwife and Coronation Street.
If you are a caring person who takes pride in making a positive difference to someone's day, this could be a rewarding role for you.
Most importantly, we are looking for someone who will help her feel respected, cared for, safe and comfortable in her own home.
