Job summary

St Paul’s Catholic Primary School is seeking a School Cleaner to help maintain a clean and safe learning environment. The role covers cleaning classrooms and the site, with responsibilities for supplies and site security, working across a 7.5-hour week over five days.

The position offers a Living Wage supplement, bringing the hourly rate to a minimum of £13.45 per hour, and operates during term time plus seven days. Training opportunities may be provided as part of the team.

An opportunity has arisen at St Paul's Catholic Primary School for a School Cleaner to join our team, taking pride in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our learners by keeping cleanliness to a high standard and undertaking necessary procedures to assist with day-to-day maintenance.

Job overview

As part of our wider school team, you will have responsibility for the overall cleanliness and security of the school classrooms and site, having awareness of security policies, maintaining supplies of cleaning materials, and working with other members of the site team to keep the site to a standard expected by leadership and management.This position is 7.5 hours per week undertaken over 5 days (Monday - Friday) between the hours of 7am and 9am (1.5 hours within these timings).This position is term time plus 7 days.*This post attracts a Living Wage supplement. In addition to the hourly rate, this post will receive the Living Wage supplement to bring the hourly rate up to a minimum of £13.45 an hour.*

Job requirements

Experience of undertaking general cleaning duties
