Job summary

Sodexo Ltd is seeking a Guest Services Assistant in Addlestone to greet visitors, manage registrations, and support day-to-day reception and facilities tasks. You will be the first point of contact, ensuring a welcoming, safe and professional environment for employees, visitors and contractors.

You will handle switchboard duties, mail, meeting room bookings, and assist with security and facilities management, while upholding health and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• SIA, First Aid, Manual Handling and DSE training are required.
• Experience in reception, facilities, mailroom or guest services is desirable.
• Strong customer service orientation, organized and reliable.
• Ability to multitask in a busy environment.

Responsibilities

• Welcome visitors and manage visitor registration, access passes and reception duties.
• Answer telephone calls and provide a professional, friendly and efficient switchboard service.
• Manage incoming and outgoing mail, parcels, couriers and office supplies.
• Support meeting room bookings and liaise with the Hospitality Team regarding catering requirements.
• Log helpdesk requests, monitor progress and escalate issues where necessary.
• Support site security, including access control, keys, CCTV and building opening and closing where required.
• Monitor facilities, report faults and help maintain a safe, clean and well-presented workplace.
• Maintain accurate records and complete reports as required.
• Build positive relationships with clients, colleagues, visitors and external suppliers.
• Follow all company policies and health and safety procedures.
