Job summary

Thera Trust is looking for enthusiastic support workers to help adults with learning disabilities live the lives they choose. You will provide personal and emotional support, assist with daily living tasks, and help individuals pursue their goals in a person-centred approach.

No prior experience required as full training is provided; you may work in clients’ homes or community settings, with opportunities for progression and flexible hours.

You will help create innovative ways to support individuals achieve their own personal goals, aims and ambitions. The support you provide will change with everyone you work with because everyone is different. Supporting people in their daily lives is varied and could include helping someone develop new skills, providing personal and emotional support, helping people plan and manage their own home, support with leisure, employment, individual interests, and travel. This can be a fun and rewarding but also at times challenging and demanding role.

You maybe be supporting people in their own home or out and about in their community.

Who are we looking for?

No previous experience or qualifications required as full training will be provided, however, unless specified otherwise

You must be comfortable with lone working & supporting individuals with Mental Health Needs
