Halo Accident Repair Centre Ltd in Aberdeen is seeking a Vehicle MET Technician to restore damaged vehicles to their original condition, upholding insurers' standards in a fast-paced, modern workshop environment.

You will perform mechanical and electrical repairs, work across EV/ADAS, and benefit from a strong training package, Living Wage Employer status, and employee perks.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical and electrical repairs to a high standard.

• Strip and refit all components of a vehicle.
• Use correct repair methods for EV and ADAS.
• Self-assess completed tasks for fitment and compliance.
• Check tools regularly for fit-for-purpose.

Salary: £21-23 per hour (up to £59,800 per annum) depending on experience and qualifications with an increase on completion of

Hours: 7am-5pm Monday to Friday and 1 in 2 Saturdays 8am-12pm depending on business needs

We are looking for a Vehicle MET Technicianto join our site in Aberdeen! You will be responsible for carefully restoring damaged

vehicles to their original condition, ensuring top-quality results that align with our insurers' high standards. With a keen eye

for detail and a thorough understanding of vehicle repairs, you will work efficiently in a modern fast-paced clean environment,

collaborating as a team player and consistently meeting tight deadlines.

This role will include, but is not limited to:

• Perform mechanical and electrical repairs to an exceptionally high standard.
• Proven experience in replacing mechanical parts in vehicles.
• Confident in stripping and refitting all components of a vehicle.
• Proficient in using correct repair methods for EV and ADAS vehicles.
• Self-assess completed tasks to ensure proper fitment and compliance with manufacturer specifications.
• Regularly check all tools to ensure they are fit for purpose.
• Adhere to all safety protocols, including the use of PPE.

• Capable of completing tasks from start to finish within set timeframes and to a high standard.
• Able to work efficiently under pressure and manage high volumes of work.
