Job summary

Spy Alarms Ltd in London and the South East is seeking a Reactive Engineer to service, fault find and carry out small works on Intruder Alarms, CCTV and Access Control. You will cover London and Surrey in a faults‑driven role, working in small, friendly teams.

Candidates should have 2–3 years’ security engineering experience, a full UK driving licence and strong customer communication. On‑call earnings are competitive and a company vehicle is provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years’ security engineering experience.
• Servicing and fault finding on Intruder alarms (Texecom, Pyronix).
• Experience with Access control / Door entry systems (Paxton Net2).
• CCTV (Hikvision) with basic networking knowledge.
• Dual Com monitoring knowledge.
• Experience in handling breakdowns and small works up to 4 hours.
• Familiar with NSI codes of practice and current industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Undertake faults, breakdowns and small works on security systems.
• Cover customers in London and Surrey in a faults‑driven role.
• Work in small, friendly teams with effective communication.
